A unique spring event that combines intangible cultural heritage (ICH) with automotive culture will take place on March 28 in Xuhang town, Jiading district, Shanghai, as part of the Shanghai Auto Culture Festival.
The event features kite painting and display activities, showcasing nearly 100 children's artworks for a week. Four cultural heritage-themed pop-up events will run at the same time, providing visitors with an immersive experience, including the town's traditional straw-weaving.

Families can participate in a themed country walk through fields and villages. A gourmet market will also offer local specialties such as Xuhang steamed rice cakes, egg waffles and fresh seasonal products. Additionally, visitors can obtain a free Xuhang cultural tourism passport by following the WeChat account "Voice of Xuhang".

From March 28 to May 5, straw-weaving workshops will be held at the Intangible Cultural Heritage Rural Life Museum, where visitors can make cute craft bags. Reservations are required for the special experience.

Moreover, Wow Nine's Sensory Farm offers seasonal vegetable picking activities until May 30, allowing families to enjoy the harvest in the idyllic countryside.
