The 2026 Jiading Wisteria Festival commenced at Jiading Wisteria Park on April 11, featuring blooming wisteria, a flower goddess parade, intangible cultural heritage fairs and limited-edition cultural products to deliver an immersive spring experience.
Performers dressed in elegant hanfu (traditional Chinese attire) led the flower goddess parade, highlighting the beauty of traditional Chinese aesthetics. Visitors enjoyed wisteria-themed pastries, local intangible cultural heritage items and creative souvenirs, including bookmarks and themed cards.
The festival has extended to nearby commercial areas and scenic spots, offering a two-day micro-vacation itinerary with fun sports activities and themed shopping experiences.
Running until April 26, the event combines culture, business, tourism, sports and exhibitions, inviting visitors to fully embrace the beauty of spring.
