The Infinaxis Data Center, known as Malaysia's "computing power heart", has been put into use, bolstered by key technology from Shanghai Pinggao Tianling Switchgear Co Ltd (Shanghai Pinggao), a leading company based in Jiading district, Shanghai.
Shanghai Pinggao's LXG-40.5 switchgear ensures stable power for the data center, marking its first deployment in an overseas facility. Proven in China's wind and solar sectors, this application paves the way for future projects in Southeast Asia and markets along the Belt and Road Initiative.
Located in Cyberjaya, "Malaysia's Silicon Valley", the Infinaxis Data Center is a high-efficiency computing hub. Shanghai Pinggao formed a special team to meet the center's high standards for power reliability and equipment efficiency, achieving a 100 percent inspection pass rate. The company used a mix of air and sea transport to ensure timely equipment delivery.
The project, managed entirely by Shanghai Pinggao, is a key milestone in the company's global strategy. "We aim to expand our international presence and support global digital growth," said Li Hongwei, chairman of Shanghai Pinggao.
Shanghai Pinggao's switchgear is already in use in over 20 countries, earning global industry recognition.
