Good coffee, cute pets and beautiful surroundings — Shanghai's Jiading district has plenty of nice cafes to relax with a cup of coffee and spend time with your furry friends.

Kaobaozi Coffee House

A pet-friendly cafe with a large lawn where your furry friends can run and play. Try its summer dessert "Cool Pond," or order a customized birthday cake for your pet.

Tucked away on Zhouqiao Old Street, this cozy cafe was converted from an old house, with vintage decor and warm lighting. Cats welcome visitors, while squirrels offer a fun surprise. Don't miss the pistachio Basque cheesecake.

Fugui Pet Park Cafe

Enjoy coffee while meeting kangaroos at this cafe in Yuhua village. It serves beans from Baoshan, Yunnan, known for their rich aroma and fruity notes.

Tip: Park at the designated lot and take the shuttle bus into the park. An admission ticket is required.

MM Coffee

Located beside rice fields in Mamen village, this pottery-themed cafe offers coffee, art and countryside views. Seasonal drinks are also available.

Cat Cafe & Tea Bar

Home to nearly 30 cats, this cozy spot in Nanxiang Old Town is perfect for coffee, cuddling with cats and a relaxing break. You can also enjoy tea in its upstairs private room.

Fuqi Coffee

A popular spot among pet owners in Jiangqiao, this cafe has its own resident cats and also welcomes customers with their pets. Its drinks change with the seasons, from iced coffee in summer to osmanthus lattes in autumn and winter.

Youmao Garden Cat Cafe
