Shanghai will offer limited-time ticket discounts and exclusive activities at 51 scenic spots and attractions across the city from Sept 12 to 27 to welcome the WorldSkills Competition and mark the annual Shanghai Tourism Festival.
Jiading district is among the participating areas, with seven venues joining the promotion, according to an announcement on the Jiading district government's website. Some tickets will be cut by as much as half.

The Shanghai Guyi Garden in Nanxiang town will charge 9.6 yuan ($1.43) for adult tickets, down from the usual 12 yuan, from Sept 12 to 24. The Shanghai Auto Museum in Anting town will offer a two-adult ticket at 99 yuan, down from 120 yuan, from Sept 15 to 30; the ticket must be booked one day in advance and is valid through Sept 30. The museum is closed on Mondays except statutory holidays.
The Shanghai Malu Grape Theme Park will sell adult tickets at 25 yuan, down from 30 yuan. The Tan Garden in Nanxiang will offer adult tickets at half price, 11 yuan instead of 22 yuan, from Sept 12 to 27, while the Yong'an Pagoda in Anting will sell half-price tickets from Sept 15 to 30.
Shanghai Poly Grand Theatre will give holders of 2026 WorldSkills participant credentials a 15 percent discount on tickets to its own productions, with the offer running through Dec 31. Huhua Gongyan, another participating venue in the district, will offer 10 percent off listed in-store prices through Sept 28.
