The wisteria in Shanghai's Jiading Wisteria Park are in full bloom and greeting visitors with breathtaking beauty and floating scents.
The Jiading Wisteria Park, which opened to the public in 2000, was built to celebrate Jiading's friendly relations with Wake Town of Okayama Prefecture in Japan. The park, one of the only three wisteria parks in the world, combines the characteristics of both Chinese and Japanese gardens.

Covering over 10,000 square meters, it has 30 varieties of more than 120 wisteria trees. April and May are the best time to view wisteria as the flowers bloom in various shades of purple, white and pink.
