Incorporating a vintage temperament with a modern style, Jiading Library is reputed as "the most beautiful library in Shanghai", and attracts numerous visitors every day. The library also looks different from the outside as the weather changes, and holds various cultural events periodically.

Yuanxiang Lake is a must-go place for outdoor enthusiasts in Jiading. Spanning 1.21 square kilometers, the lake boasts stunning natural scenery, fantastic gardens, cultural facilities and fitness areas. People can also enjoy light shows in the evening while breathing in the fresh air in the city.

Located on the shoreline of Yuanxiang Lake, the Shanghai Poly Grand Theatre is the first large cultural building on the lake and is the first theatre in Shanghai to have a waterscape, and is designed by Tadao Ando, a prestigious Japanese architect.

Malu Grape Theme Park is located in Jiading's Dayu village, which boasts prosperous agricultural tourism. In the park, there is a petting farm, a small playground for kids and a bunch of vineyards where visitors can pick their own grapes. The grapes grown in the park are quite juicy and famous for their sweetness.
