The loquats are now ready for picking at the Jiabei Country Park in Shanghai's Jiading district.
Two loquat varieties of Jinyu and Qingzhong are planted in the Loquat Garden at the park, both of which are introduced from the West Mountain of Suzhou.
The Jinyu fruit is round in shape, rosy in appearance, and sugary in taste. The Qingzhong fruit is large, storable, sweet, and acidic.
The skins of loquats are easy to peel, and the flesh is thick and full of taste, exuding an intense fruity aroma. Take a bite of the delicate and smooth flesh. The sweet and juicy taste instantly fills the lips and teeth.
Loquats have a shorter harvesting period. Don't miss out!
