The Shanghai Automotive Chip Testing Lab has recently been launched to enhance the automotive industry's growth amidst the electric vehicle chip market boom.
With a total area of 2,700 square meters and over 30 cutting-edge testing devices, the lab is set to provide reliable testing services that are crucial for ensuring chip quality and reliability.
Currently operational, the lab has streamlined quality control and reliability testing standards, focusing on a wide array of AEC-Q100 chip testing certification experiments. These include accelerated environmental stress testing, lifecycle simulation testing, packaging assembly integrity testing, and electrical verification testing.
Jiang Chengang, the lab's business manager, highlighted its capabilities in automotive chip reliability testing, failure analysis, and engineering testing. Future plans involve expanding the lab's testing capacity with more equipment. The lab aims to support enterprises in developing high-end automotive chips with comprehensive and reliable testing services.
