The Automotive and Life Culture Art Exhibition recently opened at the Auto Gallery on Anting Old Street. This exhibition blends vibrant colors, intriguing patterns, and automotive elements to create a harmonious visual experience, celebrating the intersection of art and technology.
One of the highlights is "Racing Phantom", a striking multi-colored work that captures the artist's vision of a high-speed racecar. The piece integrates roads, traffic lights, and human figures to symbolize youthful vigor, offering a fresh perspective on movement and speed.
The exhibition features an automotive history corridor, showcasing nearly 30 models of cars from different eras. At the center is the iconic "Benz Patent Motor Car", widely regarded as the world's first automobile, patented in January 1886. A highlight is the F1 racing simulator, where visitors can experience the thrill of speed with VR headsets.
In addition to traditional paintings, the exhibition includes art installations and crafts made from repurposed automotive parts, like filters and tires transformed into lamps and clocks.
Anting town, a historical hub of the automotive industry in China, provides a fitting backdrop for this exhibition. The choice of Anting Old Street, rich in cultural significance, offers an ideal stage for the fusion of automotive culture and art, fostering collaboration between these sectors.
