The 20th Jiading Chrysanthemum Exhibition has opened at Huilongtan Park in Jiading district, Shanghai, offering a visual and cultural feast during early November, which is believed to be the best viewing period for the flower.
This year's exhibition features around 100 varieties and 30,000 pots of chrysanthemums. Highlights include two three-dimensional green sculptures, three chrysanthemum art installations, two waterfront flower landscapes, and two colorful flower paths.
"The scenery here is so refreshing and beautiful," said a tourist from Thailand.
A standout attraction is a dragon-shaped landscape on the North Lawn, crafted using Jiading's traditional bamboo weaving technique. The magnificent dragon intertwined with blooming chrysanthemums has already proven to be a hit, drawing many visitors for photos.
In addition to celebrating Jiading's chrysanthemum culture, the event features the Autumn Cultural Market, a photography contest, and exclusive cultural creations, providing visitors with a rich and diverse cultural experience.
